Where does one find or get security or confidence for the future? There are so many things that are trying to grab our attention and/or even dependence. The word depend means to rest upon or to lean upon. We sometimes lean on things that eventually turn and end up causing us frustration or even harm.  In Isaiah 10:20, Israel has relied on many things for their salvation other than God. One of those is the nation of Assyria. God is showing Israel their misplaced dependence. In His grace He promises a remnant that will return to faith in Him alone. The Lord never betrays our trust. When we depend upon Him not only is He able, but also willing to keep us safe and secure. The Lord desires to show us what it means “to lean on Him” in truth.

The conference will be built upon providing the Lord an opportunity to speak into the lives of men. It will also provide an opportunity for men to gather together to encourage and exhort one another in depending on the Lord alone. May we grow in the knowledge and truth that our identity can only be found in Him.

Our speakers will be Mark Walsh and Ken Dinnen.
